浏览器检查表

The following items should be checked or completed prior to attempting to access ace and AlamoENROLL Go FAARR and 测试 Prep modules. Administrator rights to the computer(s) being used will be required.

支持的浏览器

The latest version of Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox are the recommended browsers to work best when completing AlamoENROLL modules. Whichever browser you choose, we highly recommend updating to the latest version.  

Flash播放器

Make sure Flash 10 or higher is installed. 下载Flash:

  • 去 www.adobe.com 
  • 转到下载并选择Flash播放器
  • Follow the instructions to install Flash播放器

禁用Pop Blockers

The Go FAARR and 测试 Prep modules are considered “pop-ups” by whichever browser you are using. If you have a pop-up blocker enabled in that browser, the modules will not open. 确保弹出拦截器已禁用.  

How to disable pop-up blocker in Google Chrome
  • 在电脑上，打开Chrome.
  • At the top right, click the 3 dots and select Settings.
  • 在底部，单击“高级”.
  • Under "Privacy and security," click Content settings.
  • 点击弹出窗口.
  • At the top, change the setting to Allowed.
How to disable pop-up blocker in FireFox
  • 在您的计算机上，打开Firefox.
  • 点击菜单按钮.

  • 选择隐私 & 安全委员会.
  • 在权限部分下, uncheck the box next to the Block pop-ups window to disable the pop-up blocker.
How to disable pop-up blocker in Internet Explorer 11
  • On your computer, open Internet Explorer 11.
  • 选择Tools按钮.
  • 选择Internet选项.
  • 在隐私选项卡上, 在弹出窗口阻止程序下, select or clear the Turn on Pop-up Blocker check box, 然后选择OK

  • Choose Preferences when the drop-down menu appears.

  • In the Web Content section, select the check box next to the option call Block pop-up windows.

Third-party toolbars such as Google Toolbar or Yahoo Toolbar also contain pop-up blockers and will need to be uninstalled or disabled. Toolbars normally appear at the top of your browser window.

Internet Explorer中的受信任站点

If the security level in Internet Explorer is set to high it may need to be lowered and ace may need to be added to the trusted sites.  

How to lower security level and add trusted site in Internet Explorer

  1. In Internet Explorer, go to the Tools Menu
  2. 选择互联网选项
  3. 单击安全选项卡
  4. 选择Internet图标
  5. If the Security levels for this zone are set to High, click and drag the scroll bar down to Medium-high
  6. 单击应用
  7. 单击“可信站点”图标
  8. 点击网站
  9. ace类型.阿拉莫.edu，然后点击添加
  10. 单击Close
  11. 点击应用和确定

网络防火墙设置

If accessing ace and Alamo ENROLL Modules from another institution, please consult with your local IT Network Administrators to ensure these ports are allowed through any network firewalls. If firewalls are blocking any of the ports below, students may experience server time out errors. 

  • Port 4445 needs to be open for access to the 阿拉莫大学 self-service system within ace. Self-service is used by students to look up Banner IDs, ace用户名, Email passwords and other personal information.
  • Port 8444 needs to be open for access to the central authentication system used by Instructure Canvas. Instructure Canvas is the learning management system which hosts 阿拉莫大学’ online courses and the Go FAARR and 测试 Prep Modules.
